Welcome to the supervision page of TANZSCOUT!

I am Maren Witte and I am introducing myself here as a systemic supervisor*.
My understanding of supervision is to offer a protected space for individuals as well as for teams, groups and colleges - a space to think and reflect about needs, conflicts, goals and visions in a professional context.

The aim of this reflection and my work is to initiate change, enable a change of perspective, transform stagnation into movement and create lively interpersonal encounters. In this way, quality and health in the workplace can be maintained and/or promoted.

By “systemic” I mean that I see every person as part of a system or structure, who has and is allowed to have their own perspective on what is happening. In my supervisory work practice, I draw on my professional experience and expertise in dramaturgy, dance and movement. Sometimes we get stuck in rigidities, which often leads to frustration, stagnation and the paralyzing feeling that everything will stay that way forever.
In supervision, however, we can have the invigorating experience that small impulses can sometimes make a difference and thus bring about change...
